Design of a Compact Indirect Slot-Fed Wideband Patch Array with an Air SIW Cavity for a High Directivity in Missile Seeker Applications

چکیده

This research proposes a compact indirect slot-fed wideband patch array antenna for missile seeker application. The proposed single consists of three dielectric layers radiator, an air substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW) cavity, and feeding network. rectangular is used as radiator on the first substrate layer, SIW cavity (ASIWC) employed to obtain high directivity low mutual coupling characteristics in second layer. In third structure achieve Ka-band. element extended 4 × 1 linear with fabrication, fabricated are measured full anechoic chamber. operating fractional frequency bandwidth 9.2%, gain 11.7 dBi at bore-sight direction (θ0 = 0∘).
